![]() I really want one for the speed, and they are seriously fun to ride. (my normal server character has 300 hp and 120% movement and couldnt outswim them, but my 800 oxy primitive char could) Guess I'll have to try trap it then, it's incredibly fast and annoying to tame with it swimming into me. Happy hunting! Be warned, these guys TRASH armor as fast as bats easily and without flippers most players wont be able to outswim them. Noted Manta Characteristics: Fast, they get 5% movement a point, and a lvl 32 came with over 700 stamina making them superb traveling mounts. When its docile all you need to do is stay close enough to touch one of its 'wings' to feed it, which can be a little chaotic as sometimes they like to point down and spin like tops but settle down after a bit. You probably want to finish boxing it in and wall up the doorway, it cant fit through but it can see you when your swimming around and will get riled up making it harder to feed it safely. Once you have your quarry heres the important part. This is the tricky part as mantas are much quicker to react than anglers, you need to fill in the other two wall tiles before it has a chance to turn and get out. Place at least one side of the box ahead of time, then lure your manta into the box by swimming into it then out of the box through the doorway. Then have at least three walls on hand if not more, depending on how much clearance the walls have out of the water you may need to stack a extra level to keep them from jumping out of the box. ![]() Put a foundation a stone foundation a few feet under water on the shore, stone doorway.
